Lets stay connected!

Hey girls, this was not my original idea but I was told I should start a blog so that we can all stay connected after our program finished.  Of course this was another great idea, so here it is.  This is our opportunity to share ideas, support one another, or anything else we may need.  Start posting whenever you like and make sure you check back regularly for fellow followers posts.  Have fun!  - Laura Shafer

  1. Ode to Cohort 5
There once was a cohort named- "FIVE"
We have made it, and we are still alive!
It has been a long haul
but worth it for us all.

Our yearning for learning impressed more than just Dr. Wall.
As we took our thinking deep- so the benefits would be ours to reap.
What's up with that? became our chant...
This group was able to form a real bond.
For our instructors, teaching us required no magic wand.

Students like sweet Mike from Debeque
and Laura S. who we call Mrs. Tech.
Liz stepped up to help the "out of town" crew many a night was spent pouring over books at her house while sipping some brew.
Sondra always opened Pandora's box and
Crystal's stories about her 4th grade class would rock.

Interpretive dancing was all the rage,
as Sonja put holistic education on center stage.
Teri made us have several laugh attacks
and we always knew Lori Star had our back.
We could always count on Laura C
to provide us yummies for free.
    Brian was our "adopted" one
and Karen was always up for some fun.

    Kelly was steady and sure
and Willa's perspective was true and pure.
We applaud Rocio and long for her perseverance
and the insights Cheryl shared brought us all clairvoyance.
Anne's nurturing spirit was a breath of encouragement.
As this course comes to an end, one can see it was time well spent.

I can hardly imagine doing these classes without all of you
so when the day comes and we all take lead of a school
we can call on each other to help us get through.
While Stephanie was a bit wild, a fool she was not- I am thankful we are all a crew.
    A cohort named- "FIVE"
and we are more than alive!
